Permanent Makeup Colour Correction

PMU Colour COrrection
What To Do If You Have Odd Colour Brows!

Permanent makeup colour correction helps rectify any undesirable colours that may appear as your brows, (lips or eyeliner) begin to fade. Over time, some pigments can turn into unwanted shades like blue, red, pink or green. Colour correction works to adjust the pigment and bring it back to a more acceptable tone.

How Does Colour Correction Work?

The process starts with a consultation to look at your current pigment and skin. Once I know what tones need correcting, I apply specially mixed colours to neutralise or cancel out the unwanted shades. Depending on how much correction is needed, you might need a few sessions to get the best results.

Who Might Not Be a Good Fit for Colour Correction?

While colour correction can help a lot of people, it's not for everyone. If you have very damaged or scarred skin in the area, ie, from previous microblading, you may not be a good candidate. Also, if the pigment is still very dark or fresh, I may need to lighten it first, or in some cases, refer you for laser removal.

What Results Can You Expect?

Results can never be guaranteed and you may need several sessions to achieve a good result. It all depends how much of a challenge I am presented with! I will always be honest with you and if I feel you will be throwing money at something that cannot be improved enough, I will tell you. Personally I feel laser removal is the best option as we can start from scratch and remove any build up of pigment.  Laser removal is quick and affordable now but it does need at least 8-12 weeks healing time.

If you are adamant you do not want to try laser removal, luckily I am a specialist in colour correction!
